What are the benefits of Hatha Yoga?

Among other benefits, Hatha Yoga
// Helps you focus
// Improves balance
// Improves flexibility
// Increase blood flow
// Builds muscle strength
// Promotes healthy bones

I’m not flexible, can I still practice Hatha Yoga?

YES!!!!! That is exactly why you should practice Yoga!! Imagine people not going to the gym, simply because they are not strong enough, not trying the Salsa dance class, because they can’t dance yet… We must all start something to improve, don’t we?

How often should I practice Hatha Yoga?

Do what you can, when you can. Even if you practice once a week, you will feel the difference. If you can, try to practice two to three times a week but try not to get overwhelmed by unrealistic goals. Take it slow.

What should I wear for Hatha Yoga practice?

Clothing should be soft and supple without harsh seams. It should ideally be snug, but not tight. Tight clothing limits movement and good blood flow (and the last thing you want is wardrobe malfunction during your practice!)

Menstrual cycle during the practice

Your period affects your energy, mood, and stamina. Listen to your body. Avoid inversions.

I have a health condition. Can I still do Hatha Yoga?

Please tell the teacher about your health. With that information, the teacher can advise you accordingly.

Can I do Hatha Yoga while I am pregnant?

When attending a regular Yoga class , be sure to tell the instructor that you are pregnant and what trimester you are in. However, we offer Prenatal Yoga specifically for pregnant women.

What about food and Hatha Yoga practice?

Before a Yoga class, even with a light meal like fruit or a juice, try eating at least an hour before class.

Hygiene and Hatha Yoga?

If you can, take a refreshing shower before Yoga or wash your hands, feet, and face. It is not advised to smoke before the practice. After the practice, preferably wait one hour before showing so that your skin can reabsorb the removed hormones and minerals from the sweat.
